The highly anticipated sequel to one of the more impressive iOS titles, Infinity Blade 2 is a much deeper version of its predecessor. There’s a more profound storyline, more paths to choose, gems to upgrade your gear, and entirely different weapon trees. Here’s a guide to help you along your journey…
Overview
If you’re not familiar with the series, then it would be worth it to pick up the first game, although it’s not entirely necessary. Basically, the premise of this game is that your character must reach his goal by fighting through a series of 1v1 battles. In these battles, you control your hero by swiping your screen to attack, or pressing other buttons to defend yourself. It’s a pretty basic concept, but has been developed rather remarkably.
“What build should I go with?”
The first step in determining what weapons to use and which stats to add is to define your individual play style. There are three play styles – blocking, dodging, and parrying. Blocking is the easiest of the three, but also not very reliable. You simply hold the block button and hope that your enemy doesn’t break it. Dodging requires more reaction time, and takes up “stamina”, which is shown in the dodge arrows. If the arrows are empty, and you dodge, you may be too exhausted to, resulting in damage. Parrying is very dangerous but also very rewarding – after a successful group of parries, your enemy will be stunned and vulnerable.
“What stats do I add?”
Before investing into any stats other than attack and health, play through the game for a couple rebirths. If you never rely on blocking, then obviously, don’t add any points into the “block” stat. If you love using magic, then add into that. My take on adding stats in this game is to keep pouring points into attack, and only adding the others if you need it. Basically, if you start dying, add a point or two into health. If you mess up later in the game, you can re-spec for 100,000 gold.
Note: Another build you can try is just pumping points into magic instead of attack. This makes magic very powerful (obviously) and lowers re-cast time.
“What’s the best weapon type?”
Chair Entertainment/Epic Games did a great job on including different weapon types in this game. Each has its own perks – there isn’t a definitive best weapon type.
-- Sword and Shield is a bit cut and dry, maybe because it was the only combat type available in the first game. The combo is right, left, right, or vice versa, which is way less flashy than the other weapons. Single swords also usually have the lowest attack, but most versatile defenses (you can block and dodge). If you like to be able to block but still have the mobility to dodge, go for the sword and shield. You can invest in as much block as you feel necessary, which is much more freedom than the other weapons.
-- Dual weapons are combo-ing and stun-locking machines. The combo for the dual weapons is slash, slash other direction, and slash first direction again – the same as the sword and shield. The difference is that every slash after this continues your combo attack, while the sword and shield resets. This sometimes stun-locks your enemies until they either stagger back or die, which gives some big damage. Another advantage to dual weapons is that you get way more finishing EXP than the other weapons, because you can use your combo over and over again. -- Heavy weapons are the most different from the basic sword and shield combat. Combos are triggered by slashing the same way twice, and then following an arrow on-screen for the precise slash. You don’t get to dodge at all; you get a block for each direction (left, right, and middle). Heavy weapons do the most damage, but are a bit tricky to use. You also have to invest quite a lot of stat points into blocking, as it’s your only mechanism of defense. Miscellaneous tips
Tips for Getting Gold Faster
Hp usb recovery flash disk utility. Infinity Blade II is a fun iOS game that lets you vanquish villains for loot and more loot glory. And then it makes you spend the loot to upgrade your hero gear.
So here's my ten tips for raking in the gold in IB2 as efficiently as possible.
More importantly, I've created a walkthrough with screencaps showing you treasure locations, including dozens of hidden ones that you may not have found.
Finally, I'll share a few vids of a game glitch/cheat that gives easy money, assuming you have faster reflexes than I do. But boo on game glitches! Let's get gold the awesome way, by playing the frickin' game.
General Infinity Blade II Money Tips - (Good thing you have a bag of holding for all that gold)
Infinity Blade Money Walkthrough - Here's my ugly diagram of Infinity Blade Rooms..
In the following slideshows, I've mapped all possible hotspots by Photoshopping together multiple screencaps of each location. You won't see a treasure spawn at every one of those spots during every Rebirth (although lots of maxed-out Perk Drop Gems in your gear will help).

COLOR KEY FOR SCREENCAPS:
![]()
RED: treasures you can pick up when Siris is standing still. Pan the camera around and check those locations. (These may also appear in cutscenes, but they're usually easier to pick up when Siris isn't moving.)
ORANGE: treasures that are only visible during a cutscene, when Siris is walking from one place to another. For these, you'll only have a second or two to pick them up. So, if you're following my walkthrough while playing, before you move Siris ahead, check the upcoming cutscene in my notes to see if there's any treasures marked orange. Then you'll be ready to grab them if they're there.
MAGENTA: invisible treasures! Either they're hidden in deep shadow, or they're behind something. Click a few times in that general spot to see if one is there. (They may be revealed in a different screencap / vantage point, or they may be visible briefly during a cutscene). Note that there may be two hidden treasures, one in front of the other, depending on where Siris is standing, so tap the same spot a few times.
Tip: YOU CAN PAUSE THE GAME! While playing, you can click the sword-on-shield icon at the top of the screen to pause. While using my walkthrough, pause as you leave a room so that you can read up on the next section.
Start of Walkthrough - Treasure Spawn Spots: 10 + 1 Unlocked Chest
When you've been playing for a while, it's tempting to fast forward to the first fight. Hang on! There's one or two treasure spawning spots even before the 'Rebirth X' screen appears.
I'll be referring to 'moneybags' a lot in this walkthrough, but of course, sometimes they're replaced by potions or keys. The more Perk Drop Gems you have, the more likely that gold or keys/potions will appear at each location.
Keys are often really hard to see, so it's a good idea to poke every hotspot just in case.

The Marsh was added to Infinity Blade II by the 'Vault of Tears' update, and it's blocked off on your first run through. (The first time through, you'll head straight to the Tower entrance, the next section.) The Marsh becomes accessible after Siris deals with what's waiting at the top of the tower.
I'm still not sure I've found all the treasures down here -- there's so many!
Moneybags in the marsh are usually quite visible, but a few are concealed behind low rocks scattered nearby.
Also, as usual, there's a few money bags that only appear during the cutscene as Siris walks into the area.

Once you've finished puttering around the base of that statue (or investigating a treestump), that's all there is to the Marsh; climb up to rejoin the main path.
You're standing on a ruined dam in front of the Tower, where a friendly (not) Titan will greet you. There's more treasure here than you'd think, thanks to concealing rocks, tufts of grass and broken wall bits.
Front Entrance: Treasure LocationsClick thumbnail to view full-sizeThe Brazier Hallway - Maximum Treasures: 5 + 1 'Medium Key' Chest
I almost grouped these with the last slideshow, because that 'entering the Tower' cutscene keeps going into this hallway.
So be ready to grab the treasure on the right as you step inside.

You'll now be in a round courtyard with a fountain and three staircases: one facing you on the far side of the fountain, one left, and one right.
The right-hand one leads to a dead end with a treasure chest, a moneybag, and a Titan to fight. Go there first.
Then you must choose: (A) left to the Arena and Underground areas, or (B) straight ahead towards the Clock Hallway and Archivist's hall? The divergent paths join up again on a balcony near the top of the tower.
But before we go anywhere, let's grab all the loot here.

Ah, the arena, where money really does grow on trees.
Once you've kitted out your armor with Gold Perk Drop Gems, you'll quickly grow to love all the moneybags cropping up at the top and bottom of nearly every stadium section.
There's up to three gold bags down around the perimeter of the arena floorpit; they're sometimes easier to spot from above.
The Arena: a Gold-lover's Bonanza - Click thumbnails for full-sized plus notesClick thumbnail to view full-size
If you're new to Infinity Blade II, you may wonder why my screenshots show a big honking tree in the Arena.
It grows there. By Siris' seventh (?) Rebirth, the tree becomes big enough to climb.
You'll have the option of climbing it once you've defeated the first Titan in the bottom of the arena that attacks you (the four-legged monstrosity). However, I recommend waiting until after fighting the second Arena Titan: no point in missing XP and drops.
Climbing the Tree lands you in a golden hoard guarded by a boss, but bypasses the Underground route, with its Seal, 'Large Key' treasure chest, two 'Small Key' treasure chests, and two ordinary Titan battles.
So, if you don't have any Large Keys and/or are running out of Small Keys and money, I recommend climbing the Tree. More often, I take the Underground route, with more chances of weapons, armor, and gems from chests and end-of-battle drops.
Of course, you should climb the tree at least once to meet its inhabitant.
Gargap's Tree: Quick WalkthroughClick thumbnail to view full-sizeThe Underground Cavern - Maximum Treasure: 20 + 2 'Small Key' Chests, 1 'Large Key' Chest
Let's back up. Climbing Gargap's Tree from the Arena nets you a large pile of gold, to be sure. But in doing so, you miss the Underground Cavern.
The Cavern route has a Large Key chest (you'll come to treasure these later on), two Small Key chests, enough money bags that you won't miss the tree-stash much, and more foes to fight, which means more drops.
There's also the Seal on the far side of the bridge, with its usual boss battle. You can avoid this boss by hopping down from the bridge after fighting the guy on the bridge.

This hallway is fairly straightforward, except that it's annoyingly easy to forget to open the two treasure chests, one on the left when you first step into the hall, and one on the right once you've moved forward and a Titan has dropped down to challenge you. You must open this second chest before fighting the Titan.
If you forget until you've started the battle, you can click the Infinity Blade icon at the top of the screen, click Restart, and you'll be popped back to the hallway with the Titan waiting for you. Then you can go open the box.
There's also an invisible money spawn spot in here. In most cases, invisible treasures are briefly visible in a cutscene or from some other position, but I've never caught sight of this one; I just know where to click to get the gold.
Clock Hallway Walkthrough - click thumbs for zooms plus notesClick thumbnail to view full-sizeThe Archivist's Room - Maximum Treasures: 11 bags + 1 'Large Key' Chest
The Archivist's Room is annoying: not a great deal of treasure, and several possible treasure locations are only visible during cutscenes.
Also, it's easy to click the 'leave the room' hotspot by accident when you're reaching for a treasure.
The first time you enter this room, you deal with a 'Blood Sentinel.' On subsequent visits, you'll exit through the Sealed Tomb -- which has armor/weapons unlocked if you bring certain weapons, but no random moneybags or chests -- and from there you'll climb up to the Balcony.
When leaving the Sealed Tomb, get ready to click to far left as soon as the cutscene changes to the balcony. (See the 'Balcony' section of my walkthrough for the exact spot. There's a bag concealed behind a pillar that you can only reach during the cutscene; once he stops walking, the camera won't let you pan far enough left to reach back and get it.)

The balcony is a lovely area dominated by a beautiful red tree.
Three different paths converge here. The multiple approaches make this area a little complicated. Several money bags won't be in plain view, depending on where Siris is standing. However, if you know where they are, you can still pick them up by clicking on what's in front of them.
You can reach the yellow chest if you arrive on the outdoor part of the balcony -- whether you came from (1) the mountain path up from the Underground at lower right or (2) climbed up Gargap's Tree on the opposite side of the balcony. (For some reason, I tend to forget that chest when I arrive via the Tree).
If you arrive in that hallway at the back of the balcony -- which is (3) where you come up from the Archivist's Room and Sealed Tomb area -- you can't reach any of the chests, but you can still pan left and collect all the moneybags on the balcony, concealed behind various columns, urns and other obstacles.
That all sounds very confusing! Let me show you.

The first time you come here, you fight this guy.
This room is pretty straightforward, but there's still a few concealed spawn spots to check.
There's also a Black Key box just inside on the left as you enter. If you've got the money for Black Keys, this can be an end-of-level bonanza.

You're eager to whump on whoever's at the top of the tower, but there's a few more goodies to grab first.
Watch out. Most of them can only be picked up during the introductory cutscene as Siris is walking up here. As usual, a few are hidden behind pillars and such.
There's an unlocked chest that you can open after fighting the Titan. However, the first time you come up here, Siris is too busy to give you a chance to open it. Jerk. Remember it on subsequent visits.

Oh yeah. Between whumping on monsters, collecting loot, and getting killed and reincarnated over and over, there's actually a complex world and mythology here. (I notice, for example, that Ausar / [O]siris is the Egyptian or Greek name for the dying and resurrected god of ancient Egypt, while Issa is a disguised form of.. Isis, his consort. Sneaky.)
Anyway, read the novels to find out what the heck is going on.
Infinity Blade 2 Money Cheat - I'd rather do it the old-fashioned way
1. Have a cheap mastered item in your inventory. (E.G. Worn Axe.)
![]()
2. Slide left and scroll to a very expensive item, like the Solar Trans-LX.
3. Slide right back to your cheap weapon.
4. Click the Sell button, and at the same time slide left to the expensive item.
5. If you've timed it just right (I can't do it, but the videos show it's possible), you'll get the 'Sell your last Worn Axe?' message across the very expensive item. At this point, the game gets confused and sells the cheap item at the price of the expensive weapon!
